Regulator is a 78M33 SMT on a 5V 1A supply Consumption of the 5V is ~74mA, including an LCD, backlight and regulator quiescent, with the s/w running. When the reset button is pressed this drops to ~32mA, and remains about this when the button is released. The PIC seems to be using 42mA less in this "idle" state. Most of the 32mA will be being used by the LCD and regulator. I'd have to get de-soldering to find out exactly what's using what Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
