Fair point, well made. I must admit to being fairly careful about who I int=
roduce to Big Clive's ideas ( I like to think we're all grown ups here on p=
iclist but forget about the indexed archives that turn up on search engines=
). Some might call his attitude refreshingly honest and he does liberally s=
prinkle warnings about his project pages ... The "Bam Board" is a fine exam=
ple of things not to do with mains electricity, I'll refrain from direct li=
nking :)

Don't get me started on instructables... They seem to gleefully host some d=
ownright dangerous and ignorant projects. They really need a "report this a=
s life threatening" button... But alas I fear that it would soon become the=
 abused tool of trolls and "rivals".

I tried leaving a few instructive comments on some of the more "likely to b=
urn your house down while you sleep" projects but there was little sign of =
them doing any good. Replies tend to be in  the " you can't prove that, sto=
p stifling this creativity" region.

I just tut and sigh now... Sad really!
