Self-discharge is a chemical reaction, lower temperature will help.  "float=

charge is just that - charge.  Maybe you can carefully set a bias voltage t=
o
make the chemical reaction leading to self-discharge to be energetically
inefficient and prevent it this way.  But you would need to know minute
details of battery's chemistry.=20
