Robert, I know for sure that not all V type carbide works ok on PCB. I'm designing and manufacturing prototypes with a LPKF plotter since about 5 years and the quality of tools is essential. The type I've point to is manufactured in Germany. If you knew the producer I would be very interested. Compared for example with this one: http://www.precisebits.com/products/carbidebits/scoreengrave.asp it has double lifetime in the same usage conditions. thx, Vasile On Mon, Mar 9, 2015 at 11:32 PM, Robert Dvoracek wrote: > Any carbide tipped V engraver should work. > All you need to do is set it to a depth that will produce the desired > width of cut. > > Cheers, > Robert > > ---------------------------------------- > > Date: Sun, 8 Mar 2015 12:21:45 +0200 > > Subject: [EE] V shape 0.2-0.5mm PCB-CNC isolation tool > > From: piclist9@gmail.com > > To: piclist@mit.edu > > > > Good day all, > > Do you know any European seller with reasonable price of V-shape > > 0.2mm-0.5mm isolation milling bit? > > > > The one I need have here a picture: > > http://cirqoid.com/products/insulation-milling-v-tool > > > > thank you, > > Vasile > > -- > > http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > > View/change your membership options at > > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > > -- > http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > View/change your membership options at > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
