Hi John, what's your etchant ? I use clay paper with FeCl (because I still have some) and haven't noticed bubbling. I also float the board upside-down. Before etching I go over the board carefully and remove any unwanted clay. To get in the component holes and general fine scraping (after the odd touch- up with a Sharpie) I have a needle epoxied into a pen barrel. Then it gets a gentle wash with soap and water and brushed with the edge of a toothbrush. All that remains should be toner and copper. After etching the bulk of the toner is removed with sandpaper and then wiped with white spirits / turps Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
