It also evaporates quickly and although it does dissolve the glue it may not stay liquid long enough to be able to properly wipe up I cleaned up some acrylic sheet that had had adhesive Velcro all over it. Acetone would have worked on the glue but would also have made a mess of the acrylic. White spirits / mineral turpentine effectively dissolved the adhesive without damaging the acrylic.It just needed to be left for a couple of minutes to penetrate and the bulk of the jellified glue came off on the first wipe. Then it was a simple clean-up with a little more WS and some soapy water Many glues are in originally in a hydrocarbon solvent and should respond to WS/MT Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
