OK, bit of a bizarre one, I recently purchased for my 4yo son (and yes, myself) a very neat little RC car, the WLToys L939. Went great for a while, but I believe the transmitter got dropped and now it (TX) won't turn on. Here's the bizarre part, and was hoping someone could come up with an explanation and/or a fix, however hacky that may be. I've tried pulling it all apart to check for obvious issues, and in the process of checking voltages at various points, to see if power was getting to the board etc., I have found that when measuring across all four AAs all of a sudden the transmitter powers up and can control the car. Stop measuring, power goes. Any thoughts on what could be happening here, and how I could hack it to fix? Using rechargeable AAs, so I guess a bit of parasitic drain wouldn't be too much of an issue if need be, better than a usesless transmitter and thus car?
