Even those that share /MCLR with a port line (RA5, E0, E3 etc)
are still input only

On the 18LF2520, which I assume to be similar to the 25K22,
/MCLR - E3 has no TRIS or LAT register bit and is either reset
or digital input (as set by CONFIG) so can't source current for
an LED or anything else

You'll need to re-jigger the pin assignments or perhaps a little
multiplexing or selective logic if you really want that LED
