Similar happened to me too some years ago, same OS change, but I seem to re=
call=20
I was unable to even program let alone debug. From memory were no 64 bit US=
B=20
drivers available for the ICD2 and no plan to introduce them. The solution =
at the=20
time was to purchase an ICD3, which works fine.

You might however try upgrading to MPLAB v8.92 which I think is the latest =
(without=20
switching to MPLAB X). I've always upgraded and used the latest MPLAB avail=
able,=20
and have had little to no problem with rebuilding older projects.
