I am advising someone on how to track (#1) the motion of a golf club swing = and (#2) also a golf club waggle. My thought is to use two wireless inerti= al sensors mounted temporarily on the club plus a camera to provide the ine= rtial sensors with absolute position data. The camera would be supplied wi= th a method of getting it arranged perpendicular to the center of the earth= .. Due to parallax would it be important to establish height above the grou= nd relative to the golfer=92s feet ? Would two cameras improve the possibi= lity of determining a plane through which the swing occurred ? Is there a better approach ? Golf club head speed typically varies betwe= en 50 and 150 mph. The 150 mph belongs to mad-dog long drive pros. Tiger= woods is about 116 mph. http://members.swingmangolf.com/average-golf-swi= ng-speed-chart-2/ Yikes !
