I've done many career days, so let's see.... 1. Glowing pickle. Get the biggest pickle you can find, jam a 16 penny nail in each end, attach 120 VAC to it and watch the glow! 2. Cook hot dogs. See idea #1, substitute a hot dog. 3. Show how to strip a DVD burner for the laser diode, then demonstrate what you can do with it. 4. Demonstrate how to jailbreak an iPhone or root an Android phone. 5. Let's all learn how to solder! 6. Homopolar motor or "World's Simplest Electric Train".
