> ICSP works, can I get away with this ? It depends on the programmer. I have three - my original and vintage PICStart+ and two of Olin's (Embedinc) Olin's have much better drive and are designed for circuit loads and will programme a chip when a PS+ would fail. Before I had Olin's I'd make the PIC switchable, isolating the relevant pins from loading the PS+ http://www.piclist.com/techref/microchip/picstartplusicsp.htm /mclr (Vpp) and Vcc are also involved in ICSP so you have to be aware of those loads and whether your programmer can power a whole circuit, including dealing with capacitance etc Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
