Isn't it the weirdest thing, just like your pots - I've need of a datalogger and yesterday grabbed some that have been sitting quietly and undisturbedly in the back room of the house for a couple of years 3 out of 4 of them now don't work !!!! You don't need the aggravation Josh do you, some days you just don't need it ;-)) It's a very basic design - a dsPIC, 4GB / 8GB SDHC card and an optional LCD For whatever reason, only one will initialise its card. The other 3 just hang mid-init. Got the logic analyser out, trying to get to the bottom of it. So far, the dsPICs appear to be sending the commands like they always did, but the cards don't respond like they always did Cards seem to work fine in a PC card reader, using 4-bit transfer, not my 1-bit SPI. Surely the cards' SPI controller hasn't selectively disintegrated, not three different brands Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
