Well, I did search for a fuse, but couldn't find one nor any other componen= t that could fuse at a certain current/temperature (in my knowledge). I've = also looked for a fusible link (thanks John) but didn't see one either. Yes, there must be a fuse, the fuse symbol on the back of the appliance say= s it, but of what kind?=20 Thanks for all the replies by the way, I'll keep digging...
