Whether the product meets the specs always needs careful checking. They MAY be very good. Or not. In the harder PAR16 market almost nothing meets its claimed specs. Imported Asian product locally my produce as little as around 1/3 of claimed lumen output. Some Chinese manufacturers are capable of making the very best - and many of the top name brand products are Chinese made. But, anything with no clearly guaranteed link to top LED manufacturers needs great care in evaluation. In some product areas the substantial premiums commanded by top "name brand" products is not justified by quality or performance. With LED based products it often is.
