I'm going to have to look at what Samsung does. Their standard=20 charger is 2.1A and the little in-line USB voltage / current meter I=20 have says that both my phone and tablet (both Samsung) do indeed=20 start charging at somewhere near 2A. Interestingly enough, the=20 current reading oscillates between several values every few=20 seconds. I have *no* idea why it does that. The voltage out of the=20 wall wart seems to remain constant as the current varies. Charging my phone from an Apple cube adapter (5V 1A) takes=20 significantly longer than using the stock Samsung charger. Yeah - I=20 know that it's only a 1A charger. But the phone seems to be smart=20 enough not to exceed that and it may even be as low as 500mA. dwayne At 07:20 PM 1/9/2015, Bob Blick wrote: >The Apple spec is all she has there.
