Copycat brands exist, but I've had issues with some of them.

Nice thing about a linear actuator is that the screw drive provides you a
self-locking feature - the motor cannot be back driven.

I use one with about 6" stroke and rated at 225 lb load with a
potentiometer feedback, they cost about $150 US.

Surplus options may exist.
