That sounds like either straining or improper termination. A lot of times,= they will nick the strands during stripping, or worse yet, cut some off. = Then its a simple matter of flexing and strain and they snap. Heating due = to reduced current carrying capacity does not help either. It's best to do= it yourself. If you can squeeze a little heat shrink tubing on there, the= n it is almost bulletproof.
