G'day all
As many here would likely know, the Invensense MPU-6050
gyro-and-accelerometer is getting to be a very popular little beastie.=20
Problem is, it seems to be very hard to find a "reputable" source that
isn't charging insane prices ($6+shipping direct from Invensense, $130
from Element14!!!).  There is a plethora of sources on ebay selling them
for about $3 shipped, but are there any known bad batches or outright
fakes that I have to be wary of?

Was previously designing for an accelerometer, but for the minimal price
difference I figure it's worthwhile getting the extra gyro data.
