Ah, gotcha. Thank you for the correction. I will have a poke around
for a Canadian source.

Further research on the website I posted before yielded a local source
for this guy from Seeedstudio:

I'd have to see how hard it will be to translate their Arduino
examples to PIC. I haven't dug into it that much but it's not super
easy to understand what the capabilities of the modules are.
