I've used the "MP3 Trigger" product for a liturgical application; pre-recorded organ accompaniment by a cantor. Mounted inside a polypropylene lunch box, powered from four AA cells, and with a balanced audio output. The quick retrigger is very useful. I found the board would occasionally stop in the middle of a playback, but applying a few ferrite chokes to battery power supply and audio output path seemed to fix it. Next time it happens I'll protect the inputs as well. The performance location is only 150m from radio transmitters on a town water tank. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11029 --=20 James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
