Alas , the results are not identical here I almost always get door to door delivery with DHL, Fedex and I MAY have had a UPS shipment. Goods and service tax (GST) is charged if gross value is > $NZ500 or so. That can be paid remotely without airport visit. I don't recall a vastly onerous overhead charge. USPS is prompt but slower than the above. Somebody sent me an order than a slower service than they should have recently and USPS still got it here acceptably fast. I'd expect no more or less GST hassles. Thailand versus NZ differences I guess, for whatever reason.
