Good day to all. I've *very* fond of Pololu.com - they have neat products at rational=20 prices. They specialize in making carrier boards for various chips=20 but have expanded into robotics stuff. They are currently running their Black Friday sale and one of the=20 items that I've just purchased is their PIC18F25K50 boards. The=20 board includes the PIC, a voltage regulator, a USB socket. The Black=20 Friday price is $3.95 for the first 50 customers each day (max 5 pcs=20 per customer). This is a great chip on a ready-to-use board at a fantastic price. They also have the Atmel ATmega32U4 on a similar board for=20 $4.95. Again, includes voltage regulator and USB socket. I should also mention their stepper motor drivers. I'm buying=20 high-current version of the DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver=20 Carriers. They can deliver up to 1.5A per coil without external=20 cooling and up to 2.2A with minor heatsinking. Max supply voltage of=20 45Vdc. Bulk pricing is normally $6.79 (minimum 5 pcs) but the Black=20 Friday special drops that by 20%. They use TI's DVR8825 stepper=20 driver chip and the board includes all of the external components=20 necessary. I've used a bunch of them with excellent results. Thought that I'd share the wealth. dwayne --=20 Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
