I'm finding octopart.com very handy;

- search prediction that shows what might be next in a part number,

- links to datasheets that actually work, straight away, no sign up
  needed,

- nice parametric searching,

- lots of pricing,

- minimal advertising, (my browser window isn't wide enough to see
  it),

I'm not associated with octopart, but I am easily impressed.  ;-)

(Tagged EE 'cause getting your parts is just as much EE as putting
them together in the right order).
