If you find a better solution to this, I'd like to know.
I have about a dozen field service people that occasionally need to update
software. While we were in the project planning stages I planned for PicKit
3's with the stand alone application. By the time we deployed, microchip
had dropped the standalone app. Now my people have a full copy of MpLab to
import a HEX file and program. It's less than ideal.
