Quite so. I started a major project using 16F88s but quickly realised
that the coding time was going to be very much shorter with an 18F.

The project involved modules processing SMS strings and the 16F's
single FSR and banked non-contiguous RAM made the s/w tedious
and complicated to write as well as slow to execute

A little forethought is time well spent
