*Hat: PICList admin nightcap (fabric, not liquid, variety) :* I changed the subject line from " ", to "Affect of performing numeric formatting on PIC processing power & throughput". Those preferring more concise subject lines should seek to helpfully alter zero length subject lines before I lumber into the fray. A glance at 99.99x% of other messages will show you typical examples. Nicola - may I suggest that any time that you notice a message with no subject line that you add one and then optionally consider whacking people round the ears re the omission. This has the effect of immediately starting to stop the promulgation of the error. If anyone cares enough they can rerechange it in due course. Please note that while whacking fellow list members about the ears for their misdemeanours (figuratively at least) is proscribed by the rules, it is liable to be overlooked if occasional, *invariably *follows after corrective action as above and is mild enough to be considered educational rather than punitive by the victim.
