If neither of them is working, I'm just going to throw a wild guess out the= re and say it is possibly a problem with Java. I know that on my system, b= oth used to exhibit the exact same behavior (and even Minecraft, which is a= lso Java based) where changing focus to a different window would freeze the= text area and it was definitely a Java problem. Since they are both Java = based, they can both exhibit similar issues. The first thing I would try would be upgrading (or even downgrading) Java a= nd seeing if that doesn't clear up your problems. Always downloading the l= atest bleeding edge version of Java will occasionally break one or the othe= r or both. It's just something to keep in mind. I would also disable the = Java update app and only install updates manually if this is a Windows syst= em. Cheers, Robert Sent from my iPad > On Oct 7, 2014, at 2:46 AM, "Richard R.
