Hello! Long time lurker here.
I have a group of gel batteries that see occasional use and am looking=20
for the simplest way to keep them topped up and ready for use.
I'm thinking of having a single float charger which I can hook these=20
batteries to in parallel (after charging them conventionally) and then=20
leaving them.

Can I just connect them in parallel or should I have diodes isolating=20
each battery?

Also, can I mix battery types? I have a car battery sitting in my garage=20
which could benefit from storage on a float charger.
