Got two RF modules off ebay. One for 433 MHz and another for 915. My
intention was to experiment with RF and remote control.=20

Looking into band allocations in the US, I found that these frequencies fal=
l
into the amateur bands. Wikipedia shows that 433 is for ISM but only within
Region 1, so I guess I'm left only with 915.

Am I correct here? What bands do people generally use for experimenting or
making home made gadgets that use RF and that won't be sold commercially?
