Without respect: that is a ridiculous comment. The last design I worked o= n* needed *24 layers. I suppose we could have uses a two layer board if we had stripped out most of the functionality, reduced the working frequency to 10MHz and just used a handful of TTL gates instead of several custom chips. But the customer was a real b**sted and insisted on us meeting the spec rather than simplifying things.to make the PCB layout easy. > > However, with respect I want to remember you all, that a good PCB enginee= r > will probably never use 20 layers for the most complex design ever made..= .. > > Keeping thing simple is the key for everything. > > best, > Vasile > -- > http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive > View/change your membership options at > http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist > --=20 __________________________________________ David C Brown 43 Bings Road Whaley Bridge High Peak Phone: 01663 733236 Derbyshire eMail: dcb.home@gmail.com SK23 7ND web: www.bings-knowle.co.uk/dcb --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
