In a 10 layer design, you are looking at a few thousand bucks each time you do a quick prototype, so you want to make as few mistakes as possible. Having good verification tools in your CAD system is pretty important. Also if you have any high speed buses you will enjoy some of the length/impedance/pairing tools in better systems. And good autorouters actually do work, especially in interactive mode for doing semi-autorouting.
