That's a valid note, although there's a significant audience that doesn't need that certification- they just want to play with wifi access. I've seen people get burned by this, though: recently I encountered a disgruntled entrepreneur who'd gone all the way through product design with the Wixel only to discover that the Wixel doesn't have FCC modular approval.
