A cnc router is extremely useful tool > for an EE tech, if some cheap Chinese seller of cnc router components > is found, the router could be build cheap, A CNC machine or 3D printer is something I would make use of if I had one, but I can get by without. It just so happens that the parts I want made now are extremely tedious, but not impossible, to do by hand. They are only a small part of a very much larger project but the time to make them accurately by hand is significant. For a couple of weeks I've been looking at alternatives - laser or water cutting, CNC and 3D printing. After all has been considered, 3D printing is the best option for these parts Now that I've got some of the modelling utilities I'll be learning at least as much as I need to, as it's quite likely that I would buy some sort of printer or router in the future. Obviously the more things I think of to make, the less economic it is to pay someone else, and that money could have gone towards having my own equipment Joe ----- No virus found in this message.
