Alternatively you could use Designspark Mechanical, draw a 2D surface and t=

just pull it out to the height/depth you want it (click on the surface and =

with the mouse or type in a measurement for the height/depth) and you got a=

model.

Designspark Mechanical is free and based on SpaceClaim.
