John, If this works it will be a leap beyond ion propulsion. I actually=20 hope that it will work. It would lower the cost of space travel by a=20 factor of probably 100 and maybe more. The main reason that we haven't=20 industrialized space is because of the cost of getting there. Even the=20 latest players still have to pay the huge price of getting out of=20 earth's gravity well. If we are going to improve the quality of life for the 90% who are=20 living in or at the poverty level we will need to do all of our=20 manufacturing in outer space. It is also the only real way for us to=20 minimize the impact on the environment. Thanks, rich!
