James and all, I got it. I had to change the configuration fuse from XT to HS.=20 There wasn't enough drive for the crystal. Thanks for letting me use you=20 guys for a sounding wall. Sometimes you just need to talk to someone=20 about a problem. It is now running at 20.002066 MHz +- 1 Hz. Much appreciated, rich! James, It won't run at all. Of course I'm build on a breadboard right now=20 and they are terrible about having a lot of stray capacitance. It=20 probably won't run until I get it built on to a regular circuit board.=20 What do you think? Thanks, rich!
