Not just Big Drug Companies. Big Hospital & Big Nursing Home

operators fund bogus "evidence-based" research that, for instance,

claims "controlling" their diabetic patients average blood glucose

levels to twice that or more of non-diabetics is "OK". (Control is

skilled labor-intensive (read expensive) for most patients.)

And it is OK, if you don't mind blindness, losing your limbs, & dying

15-20 years before your non-diabetic peers, while the FDA sits by

complacently...
