John, I agree with that. It boiled down to experience. I bought this gun=20 primary because I was building lots of rotaries. I also found the gun=20 very useful for the VW axle and generator nuts. The 1/2 gun was my gun=20 of choice for most tings. I also had a 1/4 butterfly, 1/4 air ratchet,=20 3/8 butterfly, 3/8 ratchet, 3/8 impact, 1/2 air ratchet. And there was=20 of course the die grinder and the air chisel. I was building two or three engines a day at times. I was having a=20 lot of fun working on rotaries. They weren't hard but they were picky.=20 Everything had to be just right. If not they either would be very hard=20 to start or they wouldn't last long. Eventually I went to Mazda school=20 and became certified to rebuild rotaries. I custom built a RX-3. Engine, turbo, clutch, trans, diff, brakes,=20 cooling, electrical, paint, and interior. I put almost a million miles=20 on just this car. I had to go through the engine every 100,000 miles or=20 so but I was also putting out close to 500 horses. I didn't mind. I knew=20 friends of mine that had to have V-8s to get this power level and their=20 engines would only last about 10,000 miles. Thanks, rich!
