Useful capacity gain over 'conventional' double layer super caps.

Energy density approaches the lower lower end of the NiCd/NimH/LiIon locus.
My calculations suggest about the equivalent of ~~~
80 mAh at 1.2V for an AA cell - or about
15% of LiFePO4 or NiCd and about
3% of top NimH or
4% of long cycle life Eneloop-NimH.

2.8V Vmax. 2.2V Vmin. May be damaged below 2.2V.

Against that you get recharge in around 1 minute
-25 - +70 C operation
Very large charge/discharge cycle life - claims vary.

Costly - A Taiyo Yuden 40F version (~=3D 45 mAh at 1.2V equivalent) costs
$23.90/1 an $17.80/1000 at Digikey.
A 200F versions costs 46.75/36.43

The 40F has a sub AA form-factor.
