After some serious searching I found WizFlow Flowcharter. I used it in the = same manner as Foster, to clarify what I wanted to do, or what I had done. It did all I wanted, witho= ut being sluggish or overcomplex. The charts are easy to draw and to maintain. It may not be everybody's tast= e, but please have a look. http://www.pacestar.com/wizflow/ (used, did, have been... I'm not doing any programming at the moment, but w= ould sure use it again !) My 2 cents. -Andries -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] Namens Foster= Brashear Verzonden: woensdag 9 juli 2014 23:35 Aan: 'Microcontroller discussion list - Public.' Onderwerp: RE: [PIC] Automatic Flowchart ? @ John G. Copying other people's work? What a strange thing to say. My interest in flowcharting my work is two-fold. First of all, I have code= d a great many projects for our company, and sometimes have occasion to rev= isit them after a long period of time, often to modify them for different b= ut similar applications. Even though I scrupulously comment all of my code= , I find that looking at a flowchart gives much quicker access to the code = functionality than does scrolling through the code reading the comments. =20 Secondly, I regard myself as an adequate but not especially gifted programm= er, and I find that sometimes looking at a flowchart during the coding proc= ess reveals better, simpler approaches to a given task than I might have or= iginally taken. In any case, I am not particularly interested in C, which is why I specifi= cally mentioned .asm. =20 Since my post this morning I have found this software, which looks like it = does what I want: http://www.assemblyflowchart.com/index.php/component/phocagallery/category/= 2 ?Itemid=3D133 More research required. I can't imagine what I said that would cause you to infer that I am "into c= opying other people's work" but I am not. There is cflow for c files, but kind of pointless to write the program then= plan it, etc. like building a car, then designing it, then grabbing the p= arts you will need.
