Or use a service. I use crashplan.com, and like them so far. I've done a = trial recovery. For those paranoid types like I am, you can set an encryption key per machi= ne you back up, which is nice so if your laptop is stolen, all your backups= are not suddenly exposed. That, and I use encryption on my local disks anyway. Recommended tools: Crashplan.com (or backblaze.com, similar service) 1password -- to store your passwords (and encryption keys) securely I don't make money off your use of any of these.
