Quite apart from being essentially non-factual, this is not an acceptable
comparison to make on this list - whether wrt Police or other people.

"Why"  is irrelevant. (Please) just don't do it.
'Why' may be raised offlist if desired.

gentlemen of another age (or their politics or generic descriptions or
....), whose doings exceed the wildest dreams of all but the utter
psychopaths of modern western society that you will encounter in day to day
