Everytime I lost data on my computer the first thought was like yours:
disaster.
The truth is this is blessing. You have a new fresh start. Just think a
little bit, why you would need emails from 15 years ago?

Forget all old stuff, is useless for your memory. You live today, not
yesterday, nor tomorrow. You live just in the moment of now.
