FWIW, I would not have engaged the cop in a conversation about my past driv=
ing offenses.. or in any conversation, for that matter (we are blessed to h=
ave the 5th Amendment here in the States). Just have to remember two phrase=
s: "Am I being charged with a crime?" And "Am I free to go?"
