(The definition of decent is here recursive). That is where NZ is different to the UK, where it is the driver that is ins= ured. Took a little thinking around that you needed to have all possible dr= ivers listed on the insurance for any of them to be valid, as distinct from= NZ where the vehicle owner can give any licensed driver permission and the= y are covered. >=20 > In this case I'd come back from overseas, and my wife was still away. Same as in the UK. Difference in the UK is you don't display the MOT (NZ Wo= F) which is done in NZ. That part is purely down to the computer system wor= king. But having everything listed on the DVLA computer (vehicle tax status= , MOT and insurance) makes online renewal of the tax easy. However the UK is about to drop the requirement to display the Tax Disk (NZ= registration) and go to a completely computerised system. Don't know how t= his will affect me when I go driving on the continent though. --=20 Scanned by iCritical. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
