I'm not a huge fan of flowcharts. I tend to feel like if you are going to go to that trouble, then software that helps more with the design is preferable. *BUT*, if you want easy and cheap, then try Dia. It has not only flowchart symbols but ERD and other sorts of diagrams, It will export your diagrams easily to all sorts of formats if you want to share, and it's free. Dia is open source, and open source software 1) tends to be backward compatible with old releases and 2) tends to live a very long time. A lot of times commercial vendors won't maintain compatibility multiple versions back in an attempt to force you into buying new versions. Never worked with me, just pushed me to something else. But you don't have that issue with open source software because it is community, rather than vendor, driven. Dia isn't horribly fancy, but for flowsheets and the like it is pretty good. It has schematic, networking, ladder logic and other symbols, too. --McD On Tue, 2014-07-08 at 11:37 -0600, Dwayne Reid wrote: > Good day to all. >=20 > I'm revisiting a very old project and need to update a flow chart=20 > that was done a couple of decades ago.
