7zip is the standard, some claim; perhaps your effort is

not wasted.

Mid-90s, I was really taken with PICs. I've since recovered.

Buggy silicon & crappy documentation take the fun out of it,

unless you've got a FAE on speed-dial.

I defected to AVR a few years ago - Still trying to decide if

that was a good move...   :)
