Hello all,
     Six months ago MPLAB X worked fine on my system. I didn't use it=20
until last week. When I tried to use MPLAB X my system froze up. I had=20
to do a hard reset to regain control.
     I have a Tyan S2885 Thunder mother board with dual AMD Opteron 250=20
processors running at 2.4 GHz. There is 2 GB of ram on the motherboard=20
and I have over a TB of hard drive space. I am running XP with SP-3 and=20
the rest of updates installed.
     Can anyone please help me fix my problem with MPLAB X? MPLAB 8.x=20
works fine. So does MPLAB 5.x and the rest of my programs. Because of=20
this problem and a problem with a spyware program I did a complete clean=20
reinstall of XP last week.
