The same part number RA106SLSPB is visible on sites with English descriptions. One such says it is "designed for motorboats, thanks to the tapered stainless steel rod which can absorb extreme forces without damage." And "designed for motor boats, as the tapered stainless steel whip can absorb any fluctuations without damage." So my gut feel is that it isn't centre-fed. Perhaps there's something interesting in the base. A Glomex catalog does say it is half wave. The photograph there has nothing in mid span. http://magazine.camperonline.it/accessori/Glomex2014.pdf --=20 James Cameron http://quozl.linux.org.au/ --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
